I am a Concept Artist and Illustrator working in the entertainment industry for over 10 years. Clients create experiences in the fields of games, animation, theme-parks, advertising and printed media.
I've performed a variety of tasks over the years, such as: Art direction, creation of concept artworks, production artworks, key artworks, marketing illustrations, storyboards, aswell as 3D blockouts, level blockouts, environment design & 2D/3D animation for concept purposes.
On some longer term projects I have also dealt with talent scouting, hiring and mentoring/teaching.
• Conceptualized upcoming content collaboratively with the Concept Art Department, from initial idea to moodboards and early visual development.
• Hosted and moderated team-wide Brainstorming sessions to flesh out our ideas and create believable fantasy races and cultures.
• Designed great amount of the in-game assets, including buildings, creatures and characters
• Created UI Elements (Loading Screens/ Worldmap-Tiles)
• Presented achievements of the Art Department to the wider team.
• Assisted with feedback and paint-overs to help improve the art direction and visuals of the game
• Created Concept Art and Vis-Dev for for Indiegames, mobile Games and Themeparks
• Illustrated book covers and other print media
• Graphic design/Illustration tasks for advertising and fashion industry
• Reported directly to private clients aswell as art departments and marketing departments during this time.
